This policy explains how the AutoPing: Car Listing Alerts mobile app ("AutoPing", "we") handles personal data.
Who we are
The data controller is UAB Unblockify (ScrapeUnblocker), company code 307194258, Giedraičių g. 39-R53, LT-09302 Vilnius, Lithuania. Contact: info@scrapeunblocker.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a sign-in identifier when you create an account with email or sign in with Apple. If you use AutoPing as a guest, no email is collected.
- Search filters and preferences: the car makes, models, price, year, mileage, fuel type and listing portals you choose, plus your language, time zone and notification schedule.
- Notification data: your device's push notification token and the history of listings we matched and sent to you.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active PRO subscription. Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store; we never receive your card details.
- Usage statistics: app usage events and basic device information (for example device model and operating system version) collected by Firebase Analytics.
- Technical logs: our servers log requests, which may include your IP address.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or files.
Why we use it
- To provide the service: match new car listings to your filters and send you notifications (performance of a contract).
- To manage your PRO subscription (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and understand how the app is used so we can improve it (legitimate interest).
- Push notifications are sent only if you allow them in your device settings (consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the device settings).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Amazon Web Services (hosting and database, EU region)
- Auth0 by Okta (account sign-in)
- Expo (delivery of push notifications)
- Google Firebase (usage statistics)
- RevenueCat, Google Play and Apple App Store (subscriptions)
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data, filters and notification history for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account they are deleted immediately; database backups and server logs expire within 7 days. Purchase records are kept by the app stores and RevenueCat as required by tax and accounting law. Details are on the account deletion page.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and export your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, email info@scrapeunblocker.com. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by following the steps on the account deletion page.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or the data protection authority of your country.
Children
AutoPing is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above.
